Salary Range: £53,208 - £59,633 per

As a forward-thinking in-house business unit, Hampshire Engineering Services offers a range of services to the County Council and other public authorities. Our Street Lighting Design Team are looking for highly motivated and technically strong Group Engineer to be involved in the delivery of challenging street lighting design and maintenance schemes. We have a great team environment, and we support and develop our engineers, so they are continuously developing their skills.
Leading the Lighting Design Team, you will manage a team of professionally qualified and experienced street lighting engineers and a work programme to design, deliver, commission and supervise services for a wide range of exterior lighting applications. This includes lighting schemes for highways (motorways, traffic routes, residential roads, new developments), car parks, tunnels, architecture, sports pitches, amenities, and parks.
You will oversee all commissions and ensure the highest level of quality, manage the entire project from conception to completion, or assist at any stage, from preparing feasibility studies and detailed designs to supervising installation works and providing assistance with the PFI Street Lighting accrual process. You will work closely with Hampshire’s street lighting client team and Street Lighting PFI to progress the works and ensure accrual of all assets at completion.
