GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- Achieve exterior lighting sales targets and business objectives within Local Authority and Regeneration sectors.
- Continuation and development of existing Business.
- Drive / assist in formulating and executing the business strategy, such as collecting market information, analysing market trend, etc. to increase the market share
- Explore new business opportunities and maintain good relationships with customers, internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare sales report, analysis and presentation
MAIN TASKS:
- Development of the sales potential of our strong brand together with our key customers
- Make an actionable business development plan and execute the plan
- Maintaining Key Account Plans and monitor progress versus targets, take corrective action where needed
- Understand customer supply chain, decision making unit and opportunities to identify solutions that bring customers competitive advantages
- Obtaining a brief from the customer which can be developed into a specification and design for all types of lighting · Seek opportunities with the customer to identify other areas of commercial benefit and develop sales for the company
- Provision of accurate sales forecasts
- Acquire and maintain complete knowledge of the company’s range of products and to apply this knowledge to offer a complete solution to the customer lighting needs.
- Willingness to attend out of hours events and to attend sites outside of normal working hours.

Strong IT skills- in particular Word, Excel, CRM systems
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Previous lighting industry sales experience highly desirable.
- Experience of working with territory sales managers to drive new business.
- Project management skills required (solution not product sell). Ÿ Engineering or design-based education desirable.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years’ of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
