Due to significant growth and new business opportunities, SparkX Ltd (One of the UK’s leading HERS/NERS ICP businesses) has a new opening for a Jointer to come and join our team based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. Travel will be required along with flexible hours working.
The Role:
- Installing new and repairing existing assets such as mains and service cables, lighting columns, signage and feeder pillars.
- Fault finding on the distribution network including the restoration of LV supplies
- Test and switch on the LV Network
- Low Voltage jointing
- Exceptional knowledge of Health & Safety practices
- IT literacy, designs, drawing and planning procedures
- Overseeing all aspects of the jointing teams in a live environment is essential
Requirements:
- We are looking for an experienced and qualified LV Cable jointing supervisor
- DNO operational authorisation enabling live LV working
- Experience working for an ICP or DNO required
- NRSWA Qualified
- City and Guilds 2339 (Formally 2322) certificate or equivalent
- CSCS / EUSR Accreditation
- Advanced First Aid training
- Professional and customer facing
- NERS Passport required
