‘Heartfelt’ centenary congratulations from King Charles

The ILP has received a message of ‘heartfelt congratulations’ from His Royal Highness King Charles III on its centenary year.

The message from the monarch follows similar letters of congratulations to the Institution following its 50th and 75th anniversaries.

The letter was sent on behalf of His Majesty to the ILP from Buckingham Palace’s head of correspondence James Dawson after the Institution sent a message of loyalty to the Palace.

It reads: ‘The King has asked me to thank you for your kind letter of loyal greetings sent on behalf of the Members of the Institution of Lighting Professionals, on the occasion of your 100th Anniversary.

‘His Majesty appreciated your thoughtfulness in writing as you did and, in return, has asked me to send his heartfelt congratulations to you all for a most memorable anniversary.’
