LIGHTING LIVE IS BACK!

The looming expiration of PFIs will be one of the key topics of this special ILP event for local authority lighting professionals, which be returning to the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel in Northamptonshire on Thursday 6 February.

A call for papers went out in October for both Lighting Live – Local Authority in Daventry and the Lighting Live Annual Conference (formerly the Professional Lighting Summit) in Glasgow from 18-19 June.

Lighting Live – Local Authority in Daventry will bring together ILP members, especially local authority members, to discuss the key issues and pressures they are facing.

As well as the ending of PFIs, changes to procurement regulations taking place this autumn are also set to be key topics of conversation.

Now in its third year, as well as panel discussions (with an image from last year’s event shown here) and keynote presentations, there will be an exhibition showcase led by technology, equipment and services suppliers.

The cut-off for submitting papers for Lighting Live – Local Authority in Daventry is Friday 8 November, with members being asked to send submissions to ILP Technical Manager Guy Harding at Guy@theilp.org.uk

Keep an eye on the ILP’s online events page, at https://theilp.org.uk/events/ for updates and more details.

To submit a paper, you will need to provide:

  1. The title of the paper.
  2. A short synopsis (a summary of the topic and its relevance).
  3. The presenter’s bio (information about yourself and any co-presenters, including your professional background and relevant experience).

All submissions will undergo peer review by the ILP Technical Committee. Selected papers will be presented at the corresponding event.
