Promotion for CU Phosco’s Keith Henry

CU Phosco’s Keith Henry has been promoted, the company has announced, adding head of telecoms to his existing role as general manager, Australia.

Henry joined the business in February 2023, having worked previously in a wide range of industry position over a career spanning more than 35 years.

He worked in a variety of local authority, manufacturing and smart city technology roles, including positions with Bristol City Council, Signify and Telensa, where he delivered central management system solutions in partnership with CU Phosco for Stansted Airport.

His promotion will reinforce the company’s continued focus on the growth of its telecommunications and smart pole infrastructure offering both in the UK and internationally, said CU Phosco.

Henry will retain his responsibility as general manager for Australia, where the company will work in partnership with Pecan Lighting to support its distribution.

National Accounts manager Ben Hiscott, meanwhile, will lead telecommunications in the UK, whereas Keith will focus on international markets.

“Keith’s experience across lighting, smart infrastructure and telecommunications makes him ideally placed to lead this area of the business,” said Matt Murray, sales and marketing director at CU Phosco.

“His work in establishing our presence in Australia and his understanding of global telecoms requirements will be key as we continue to develop our Connected Urban offering and support customers with future ready network densification infrastructure.”

“This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen one of the fastest growing areas of the business,” Henry himself added.

“With more than 40 years of experience supporting mobile network operators through robust monopole infrastructure, we are now focused on expanding our role in delivering connectivity at street level. I look forward to working with our teams and partners to support this next phase of growth,” he added.
