CU Phosco appoints Stuart Murray as contracts director designate

CU Phosco has promoted Stuart Murray to the role of contracts director designate.

Stuart has been with CU Phosco for more than 17 years, having joined the company on a sandwich placement from Northumbria University in 2006.

During his time with the company, Stuart has helped it deliver high-profile floodlighting and high mast installation projects across the UK and Ireland.

Stuart, who will move from being assistant contracts manager within the CU Services Division, said: “I’ve developed significantly during my time here at CU Phosco, from starting out and learning about the business, to becoming an integral part of the Services Division and company.

“I’ve learnt how to manage projects, lead teams, and build long-standing relationships with our clients. I’m incredibly grateful to the people who’ve mentored and supported me – particularly Bob Gaskell – and I’m looking forward to taking this next step in my career.”

Bob, overall director of the Contract Services Division, will remain within the business and work closely with Stuart “to provide continued guidance and support during this transition, ensuring continuity and shared knowledge within the division”, CU Phosco said.

Bob said of the appointment: “Stuart’s promotion is thoroughly well-deserved. His work ethic, professionalism, and ability to foster strong working relationships make him an outstanding leader.

“He’s been instrumental in the development and growth of our Services Division, and I have no doubt that he will ensure the continued success of the Services Division in his new role.”
