Two key appointments at Light Bureau

Nordic lighting design practice Light Bureau has made two new key appointments.

Daniel Hodierne (main image) has been promoted to design director for Light Bureau Sweden, while Jessica Linefors is returning to the practice as senior lighting designer.

With his architectural background and master’s in lighting design, Daniel has been “instrumental” in leading the practice’s projects since 2010, said Light Bureau.

“In his new role, he will lead our design vision, guide high-profile projects, and mentor the next generation of designers – ensuring Light Bureau continues to shape meaningful, forward-looking lighting design,” it added.

After eight years at Liljewall Arkitekter, where she contributed as a specialist in lighting design and led multidisciplinary projects, Jessica (above) returns to the practice “with extensive experience from both cultural heritage buildings, commercial properties, and public environments.

“Jessica will play a key role in strengthening collaboration between lighting design and architecture, and in further developing her expertise as a project leader,” the practice said.
