Falkirk’s Brown steps up to Glasgow group manager role

Congratulations to MILP Scott Brown who, after 18 years with Falkirk Council, is moving to Glasgow City Council.

Brown, whose ILP membership ‘journey’ was profiled in Lighting Journal last year, will join Glasgow as a group manager.

He wrote on LinkedIn: “This represents an opportunity to lead at a broader strategic level, shaping policy, driving transformation, strengthening governance and building high-performing teams to deliver sustainable infrastructure services for the future.

“It is a moment of both reflection and anticipation. Leaving an organisation that shaped my career is not easy, but the opportunity to contribute at a larger scale is one I feel ready for and motivated by. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far. Onwards to the next challenge,” he added.
